Our community is well aware that its future rests in the education of its youth. There are both public and private opportunities available for K-12 grades. The Desert Sands Unified School District is headquartered in La Quinta. Private schools include the Quadrille Academy and the Christian School of the Desert. The College of the Desert is an outstanding community college while the combined campus of California State University, San Bernardino and University of California, Riverside, as well as Chapman College have degree and continuing education programs.
